This blog post is for one of the best coaches I know. He introduced me to rowing and got me hooked. He challenged me and pushed me on and off the water. He offered me wisdom and friendship during my first year of college. I will always be grateful for the wonderful time I had with him and that team of rowers. Bob is strong and courageous and he is in the fight for his life against cancer. May God strengthen him physically and spiritually and give him healing! Please pray for Bob!
Bob, my boys recently memorized this Psalm and we dedicate it to you. Cohen got a little distracted by a shiny object, but the sentiment is there.

Here are the words in case you can't understand them all...
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
