It was so nice the house we are in has a room with bunk beds. Elias has thought it would be so awesome to sleep in them and now he finally can. There are also some interesting animal primary color print curtains in there. They really are fine, but when we initially walked in, there were bed duvet covers with fluorescent flowers on them... crazy orange, pink, and green colors. It was vivid to say the least. We decided we had to get rid of the flowers fast. Not just because they clashed so badly with the curtains but because they are too girly for a boy, right?! Anyway, we brought the outer space pillow covers, and the WALL E blanket with us, now we needed to find something more manly. At our first thrift shop, I saw the super hero duvet cover for a twin bed in primary colors for $5! Oh yeah, super find (no pun intended:) I also found a fitted sheet and flannel sheet at that shop for his bed because it had 2 hospital grade sheets wrapped around it. After a good washing, and the instillation of his space wall stickers, the room was transformed. He's very happy with it so am I.
Next, some gracious new friends found a crib for us to borrow while we're here for Cohen's room. I thought about transitioning him to the bottom bunk, but decided I'd conquer one change at a time, and wasn't ready for him to get out of bed at his leisure yet:) So after Jared's good job of putting together the crib and the instillation of Cohen's construction truck wall stickers, his room is very cute too. We have a nice big double sized bed in there if any of you would like to come and stay. :)
